The Fleisher Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to empowering extraordinary human beings.

On June 1, 2004, we lost a husband, son, grandson, brother, friend, and magnificent person. In many ways, Amos J. Fleisher was an ordinary man; in so many others, he was an extraordinary human being. Amos never hesitated to pursue his dreams and, as a result, he was successful in nearly every endeavor he pursued. Amos never put his personal ambitions above being human, and his strength of character, compassion, and smile touched all around him.

The Fleisher Foundation was established in 2005 to celebrate Amos’s life by supporting other ordinary people in pursuit of the extraordinary. We host several events per year that promote camaraderie and an ethic of service within the young professional community of Boston. Proceeds from these events are used to support education and training to combat Sudden Cardiac Death.

2009 Mud Run GoalNetworking Cocktail:  Meet. Mix. Fight Sudden Cardiac Death.

News from the Mud Pit:
19 runners will take to the mud June 6th at Camp Pendleton. Last year our team had a tremendous showing: 2nd place overall, 48th place overall, top ten in the women's 35-40 age group and top ten in the men's 40-45 age group. We raised over $30,000 that funded an Automated External Defibrillator in each of the Capistrano Unified School District high schools and expanded our partnership for teaching CPR in Boston's schools. This year's goal is $20,000; we need your help to keep CPR being taught in schools hit with budget cuts.

Networking Golf:
Join other Boston business people for two of Amos’s favorite activities: networking and golf. Played at Blackstone National Golf Course with scramble format and cookout lunch in the early fall.  Send an email to info@fleisher-foundation.org if you want to be added to the mailing list.
